Parents of two missing teenagers have expressed anger after police waited 24 hours before issuing a public appeal for help. The families have been searching Eastleigh woodland overnight but have yet to find any trace of the girls.

Maisie and Jessica were last seen on Tuesday 8 June at approximately 12:20pm on Bodycoat’s Road, Chandler’s Ford. Both families are becoming increasingly desperate and are worried about the welfare of the teens.

Authorities have now alerted the public to be on the lookout for Maisie and Jessica. Maisie is described as white, around 5ft 11in tall, with a slim build and long mousey brown hair with highlights. Jessica is white, approximately 4ft 9in tall, slim build, with a freckled face and dark brown shoulder-length hair.

Police believe the girls could still be anywhere in Chandler’s Ford or the wider Eastleigh area. They are urging anyone with information to come forward immediately. If you have seen the girls or know their whereabouts, please call 101 quoting reference 44210223881.
