An 18-year-old motorcyclist remains in critical condition following a serious crash in Ashford. The incident occurred on Hythe Road, and police are actively seeking witnesses and dashcam footage to aid their investigation.
The collision took place at 9.58pm on Monday, 12 April 2021, at the junction where the A292 Hythe Road meets Hunter Road. A Honda Civic was involved in the crash, colliding with the motorcycle ridden by the young man.
The motorcyclist was immediately rushed to a hospital in London, where he continues to receive treatment in critical condition.
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit has issued an appeal for anyone who was in the vicinity at the time to review their dashcam footage and come forward with any information. Witnesses are encouraged to contact the police by calling 01622 798538 or emailing [email protected].
