Nomad thief Hardav Bhakar, aged 46 and with no fixed address, has been charged in connection with a series of thefts across Southampton.

The incidents include a robbery and two separate shoplifting cases.

On 26 February, a woman in her 40s was robbed of cash on Above Bar Street in Southampton.

Later, on 18 March, Bhakar stole coffee valued at over £92 from the Co-op located on Wyndham Place.

On 25 April, he took laundry products worth more than £68 from Wilkinsons.

Bhakar appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 26 April. His next hearing is scheduled at Southampton Crown Court on Tuesday, 2 May.
