Police were called to Clarence Road in Hackney following a stabbing incident at 5.16pm on Tuesday. The victim, a man in his 20s, was swiftly taken to hospital. His current condition has not been disclosed.
In response to the incident, Inspector Ireland imposed a Section 60 stop-and-search order covering the entire Hackney borough from 7pm Tuesday until 1am Wednesday. This measure was introduced amid heightened tensions after the serious event.
As of now, no arrests have been made. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the stabbing to contact the police by calling 101 and quoting the reference CAD 5314/24 Aug.
