Five men have been jailed for operating a large-scale cocaine laboratory in Bournemouth that supplied drugs across the United Kingdom.
Three men from Bournemouth and two from Southampton pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply class A drugs. The sentences were handed down at Winchester Crown Court on 20 April.
Police investigations by the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU) revealed a network led by Xhetan Gjoci, 31, and Arlend Titini, 32. The group distributed a total of 27.5kg of cocaine to various hotspots including London, West Sussex, Cumbria, Avon and Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, and Hampshire.
Other key members of the group were Vladimir Rina (37), Dejvin Rina (21), and Korab Skepi (23).
The sentences given were as follows:
- Xhetan Gjoci – 14 years
- Arlend Titini – 14 years
- Vladimir Rina – 11 years 8 months
- Dejvin Rina – 8 years 8 months
- Korab Skepi – 11 years 8 months
The court heard that the gang operated a DIY drug lab in a rented property in Bournemouth where they processed cocaine. Stash houses connected to the operation were located in residential areas of both Bournemouth and Southampton. Between April 2024 and March 2025, the group couriered large quantities of drugs and cash.
Gjoci was arrested in March 2025, while Titini was extradited from Verona in December 2025. A search at Skepi’s address in January 2025 uncovered 3.1kg of cocaine, £24,540 in cash, and detailed ledgers documenting drug deals. Further raids at linked locations uncovered over 16kg of cocaine, cutting agents, a hydraulic press, and additional cash and drugs.
Detective Constable Danielle Hill of SWROCU praised the collaborative effort, stating, “This was a protracted and complex investigation supported by Dorset, Hampshire, Metropolitan, and Cumbria Police. We worked tirelessly to build a case against an organised crime group handling hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of cocaine. They used clever ‘hides’ in vehicles to deliver drugs nationwide.”
She added, “We welcome the sentences and remain committed to rooting out organised crime in the South West and beyond.”
