Police are seeking witnesses following a brutal stabbing in Woolston, Southampton, in the early hours of Sunday, December 18. A 28-year-old man was viciously stabbed and found on Victoria Road with multiple puncture wounds to his lower back and legs.
The victim was rushed to Southampton General Hospital where he was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
In response to the attack, detectives quickly arrested three men: a 25-year-old local man and two others aged 26 and 27 from Middlesex. All three suspects have since been released on bail until February 17 as the investigation continues.
Detective Sergeant Wayne Jackson of the Western Investigation Team urged the public to come forward with any information. He said, “We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the Victoria Road area around this time who saw or heard this incident to contact us. Though we believe this to be an isolated incident, anyone with information is urged to come forward in confidence by calling 101 quoting 44160475861.”
