Police Shut Down Trouble Spots in Liden
Wiltshire Police have slammed the door on chaos in Swindon’s Liden area. Two properties on Galsworthy Close are now off limits after closure orders targeted ongoing anti-social behaviour and drug dealing. The move aims to bring peace back to the neighbourhood.
Three-Month Closure Orders Enforced
The first order was issued at Swindon Magistrates Court on February 27, with a second following swiftly on March 3. Both ban anyone except residents, emergency services, or authorised housing staff from entering until June 2026. Break those rules and you’re looking at up to 51 weeks in jail, a big fine, or both.
