Joanna Cierpka, 51, has been charged with murder following the death of a 52-year-old man in Elephant and Castle.
Tragic Discovery in Newington Causeway
Police were called on Sunday 15 March at 2:28pm after concerns were raised about the welfare of occupants at a Newington Causeway address, SE1. Officers arrived to find the body of Henrik Slotsaa, 52, who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
Joanna Cierpka, 51, from Newington Causeway, Southwark, was arrested at the scene. She was charged with murder the following day, Monday, 16 March. Cierpka remains in police custody and is set to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 17 March. Police believe the victim and suspect were known to each other.
