Stabbing Shocker at Hilton London Metropole
Chaos erupted at the swanky Hilton London Metropole on Edgware Road Saturday night. Police rushed to the scene just after 10pm following reports of a violent brawl breaking out during a private event.
22-Year-Old Slashed, 60-Year-Old Hurt
Officers found a 22-year-old man with stab wounds. Paramedics treated him swiftly before rushing him to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or permanently damaging.
A 60-year-old man also suffered a minor hand injury. He was treated on site and later hospitalised. Both victims have since been discharged.
Police Scramble, No Arrests Yet
The fight reportedly broke out during a private function. Police are hunting for clues but have made no arrests so far. Investigations are ongoing.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 22:10hrs on Saturday, 18 October, to reports of an altercation at a hotel on Edgware Road, Westminster.
“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a 22-year-old man for stab wounds. He was taken to hospital for further treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life changing.
“A 60-year-old man was also treated at the scene for a minor injury to his hand and taken to hospital. Both men have since been discharged.
“There have been no arrests at this stage and enquiries are ongoing.”
