A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder after a brutal stabbing in Hornchurch, east London, left a woman dead.
Man Charged with Murder After Hornchurch Stabbing
Augustinas Druskis, 43, of Cranham Road, Hornchurch, is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 20 October. The charge follows the death of a 40-year-old woman, believed to be his wife, at their home in Havering.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just after 1am on Saturday, 18 October, following reports of a stabbing. Despite paramedics’ desperate efforts, the victim, named as Agne Druskienea, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses
Agne’s family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. The suspect was arrested at the scene shortly after the attack.
