Man Stabbed in Waterloo Park – Condition ‘Life-Changing’
Police stormed Waterloo Millennium Green last night after a stabbing sent shockwaves through the community. At 7.40pm on October 8, officers and paramedics raced to the scene near Baylis Road. They found a 25-year-old man seriously injured.
The victim received urgent treatment from the London Ambulance Service before being rushed to hospital. His injuries are now described as life-changing.
Crime Scene Locked Down for Over 23 Hours
More than 23 hours later, Waterloo Millennium Green remains sealed off. Yellow police tape blocks the Baylis Road entrance. Officers keep a tight watch on the scene as investigations drag on.
No arrests have been made yet as police continue hunting for answers.
Police Urge Witnesses to Step Forward
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 19:40hrs on Wednesday, 8 October, to reports of a stabbing on Waterloo Millennium Green, SE1. Officers attended and found a 25-year-old man being treated by the London Ambulance Service. He was taken to hospital, and his condition is believed to be life-changing.
A crime scene was established, and enquiries are ongoing. There have been no arrests at this stage.”
