Three teenagers have been charged with murder following the death of a man in Leysdown-on-Sea, Isle of Sheppey.
Kent Police were called to Warden Bay Road, near Jetty Road, shortly after 7pm on Sunday (10 August) after reports of a disturbance involving a small group of people.
It is alleged the victim, 49-year-old Alexander Cashford, was assaulted and sustained multiple injuries. Despite the efforts of emergency services, Mr Cashford was pronounced dead at the scene.

A short time later, two boys aged 14 and 15 and a 16-year-old girl — all from London — were arrested. On Tuesday (12 August), all three were charged with murder by joint venture and remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court the following day.
A 12-year-old girl, arrested in Basildon on 12 August in connection with the incident, remains in custody as enquiries continue.
