Inferno at Aylesford Pub: Eight Fire Engines Battle Blaze
Kent Fire and Rescue Service has rushed to a huge fire ripping through a pub on the High Street in Aylesford. Crews arrived to smoke and flames pouring from a first-floor window.
Eight fire engines and a height vehicle are fighting the blaze. Firefighters are using compressed air foam, hose reel jets, and main jets to tame the flames. The roof has also caught fire, with the height vehicle helping crews reach the blaze.
No Injuries but Smoke Warning Issued
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported. However, locals nearby have been advised to keep their windows and doors shut due to thick smoke filling the area.
Firefighters Work Through the Night
Teams remain on site, soaking and turning over hot spots to prevent flare-ups. A full fire investigation will follow to uncover the cause of the devastating fire.
