Drama unfolded in Paddington Green on September 23 at 2.20pm when emergency services were scrambled after a 16-year-old boy was found with a severe arm wound. London Ambulance Service reached the scene swiftly, providing urgent treatment before rushing the teenager to a major trauma centre.
Fortunately, the youngster was discharged with non-life-threatening injuries, much to the relief of locals.
Suspect Caught Within Hours
Police wasted no time. The same day, they arrested a 17-year-old boy from Westminster in connection with the attack. The swift action has sparked hope for justice in the area.
Serious Charges Filed – Court Appearance Underway
The Metropolitan Police have charged the suspect with wounding with intent, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of a class B drug. He was remanded in custody and made a court appearance at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on September 25.
