Anger as Poppy Appeal Charity Box Stolen in Kent

Thieves have struck a blow to kindness by stealing a Poppy Appeal charity box from a local Kent shop – even though it was chained up tight. The brazen theft has sparked fury across the community.

Locals have slammed the thief as “the lowest of the low” for targeting a charity that supports veterans and their families. Social media is awash with disgust:
