Police were called to Newick Road in Moulsecoomb, Brighton, on Wednesday evening (6 August) following reports of a disturbance involving two men.

Officers responded to the incident at around 8:30pm and attended the scene where the altercation reportedly took place in the street. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

As part of the investigation, two XL Bully dogs were seized from the location. A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Police have confirmed that multiple lines of enquiry are being pursued to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
