A major section of the A23 Brixton Hill southbound has been closed to traffic following a serious incident.

The closure affects the stretch from Brighton Terrace to St Matthews Road (A204). Collision investigation work is underway and is expected to continue for several hours.


Road Closed – Diversions in Place

  • The southbound carriageway is fully shut between Brighton Terrace and A204 St Matthews Road
  • Local bus routes are being diverted – commuters should check with TfL or local operators for service updates
