South Western Railway (SWR) services across the south of England have been severely disrupted following a points failure at Wimbledon, with operators warning passengers not to travel unless absolutely necessary.

The issue began at approximately 11:30am today, and has since led to widespread cancellations and delays of up to 60 minutes across multiple key routes.

Due to the level of disruption across the South Western Railway network, passengers are advised DO NOT TRAVEL unless absolutely necessary as services are heavily disrupted and subject to short-notice cancellations.
