Three Officers Hurt in Chaos on Colyers Lane
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after a violent disturbance left three Metropolitan Police officers injured in Erith on Saturday night, 21 June 2025.
Police rushed to Colyers Lane just after 9pm following reports of a large, unruly crowd near Brook Street. Several police vehicles responded to the scene where officers faced a hostile mob.
Section 35 Order Issued Amid Growing Tension
Officers quickly slapped a Section 35 dispersal order on the group, demanding they clear the area. The crowd began to disperse, but violence erupted during the confrontation, resulting in injuries to three officers.
