An urgent rescue mission ignited Sunday afternoon after reports of a man struggling in the waters off Selsey Beach, Chichester. Police, paramedics, HM Coastguard, and the Selsey Lifeboat scrambled to the scene to launch a full-scale search.
Man Seen Struggling Near Kingsway
The alarm was raised around 12:30 PM on December 1 when witnesses spotted a man aged 20-30 with black hair and wrist tattoos standing in the water near Kingsway. Sussex Police confirmed the man was dressed in a blue top and black trousers and appeared distressed as he exited the water shortly after.
