Sussex Police have identified a man they wish to speak to in connection with a collision involving a cyclist and an e-scooter rider in Lancing.
The incident occurred on Shadwells Road at approximately 3:30pm on Saturday, August 17. The cyclist, a 12-year-old boy from the local area, sustained injuries and received treatment at Worthing Hospital.
Following an appeal to the public, officers were able to identify the individual they believe may assist with their inquiries.
Ongoing Investigation
A police spokesperson said: “We would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying the man in question. Our investigation into the incident remains ongoing.”
Appeal for Witnesses
The police are continuing to seek information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant footage, such as from dashcams or doorbell cameras.
