Man Arrested After Stabbing Attack on Young Woman in Stirling
A 29-year-old man has been charged following a shocking assault on a 21-year-old woman in Stirling, Scotland. The stabbing happened just after 8.20pm on Saturday, 3 August, on King Street.
Victim Treated for Serious But Non-Life-Threatening Wound
The injured woman was rushed to Forth Valley Royal Hospital. Her wound is serious, but doctors confirm it is not life-threatening. Police say no one else was hurt during the incident.
Police Urge Calm Amid Social Media Rumours
Inspector Phil McIntosh of Stirling Police warned against spreading false information online. He said: “We are aware of speculation and false information circulating on social media regarding this incident. Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, and I would urge people not to add to this speculation online.”
Call for Witnesses as Investigation Continues
Inspector McIntosh added: “Considerable efforts are being made to identify the man involved. I urge anyone with information to come forward by calling 101, quoting reference 3563 of 3 August, 2024.”
Police continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone who can help bring justice to the case.
