A third individual has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of Antonios Antoniadis in New Cross.

Police responded to a call at Florence Terrace around 9:20 am, reporting an assault and stabbing incident. Officers found Antonios Antoniadis, a man in his late 20s, critically injured. He was transported to a hospital where he received specialist intensive care. Despite efforts, Antonios succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, July 21, after two weeks in the hospital.

Sofian Alliche, 19, of Bury Place in Holborn, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named due to his age, were previously charged with Antoniadis’ murder and appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, July 25.

Now, a third suspect, Shian Johnson, 25, of Argyle Walk in Camden, has also been charged with Antoniadis’ murder. Johnson is scheduled to appear at Bexley Magistrates’ Court today, July 30.

In a related development, police have issued a photo of 19-year-old Joshua McCorquodale, whom they believe holds crucial information regarding the case. Authorities are urging anyone who has seen McCorquodale to call 999 and quote Operation Botany.

Detective Chief Inspector Kate Blackburn, who is leading the investigation, expressed concerns for McCorquodale’s welfare, stating: “McCorquodale may have injuries and we are concerned for his welfare. Please, if you have seen McCorquodale call 999 quoting Operation Botany, or if you wish to remain completely anonymous, then call Crimestoppers – your identity will be protected.

Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward to aid in the investigation and ensure justice is served.
