Patrick Bledy, aged 28, of Salisbury Road, Dover, was sentenced on 9 February 2022 at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court. He pleaded guilty to driving above the legal drug-drive limit and driving without insurance, in Dover, on 25 August 2021. When stopped he gave a reading of 3.2 microgrammes of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (cannabis) in one litre of blood. The legal limit is 2 microgrammes. He was disqualified from driving for a total of 22 months and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay a £34 surcharge and
