Blaze Breaks Out in Kent Home: Fire Crews Rush In
Kent Fire and Rescue Service sprang into action after reports of an electrical fire at a house on Dennes Lane, Lydd, Romney Marsh.
Major Fire Response on the Scene
Four fire engines, a height vehicle, and a bulk water carrier were dispatched to the property. Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and fought the flames using hose reel jets and a fog spike.
One Injured but Stable
One person received first aid for smoke inhalation at the scene. Thankfully, no life-threatening injuries were reported.
Fire Believed to Be Accidental
Investigations point to an accidental cause for the electrical fire. Kent Fire and Rescue continue to assess the damage.
