Police charge man over Portsmouth threats to blow up football fans

Police have charged a 22-year-old man with making threats to kill in connection with a tweet sent over Twitter about a bomb threat and harming fans at Fratton Park. North Yorkshire Police have charged this Kieron Richardson from Northallerton, who was arrested hours after tweeting. The foolish move has landed him an appearance at York Magistrates Court on June 7. It comes after a threat to ‘kill 150 fans’ at Portsmouth’s League One play-off semi-final tie against Sunderland was uploaded to Twitter on Wednesday. Richardson account was suspended and an arrest was made.
