DOING WELL Sara Cox Smashes 135-Mile Marathon Challenge for Children in Need

Radio 2’s Sara Cox is smashing it with her epic 135-mile challenge in aid of BBC Children in Need! She’s just completed five marathons in five days, trekking through some of northern England’s toughest terrains.

The Great Northern Marathon Challenge

This week, Sara took on Sara’s Great Northern Marathon Challenge, covering marathon distance every day while travelling through Northumberland, Durham, North Yorkshire, and West Yorkshire.

She battled through sweeping moorlands, steep ridges, and rolling hills in relentless wind and rain. Along the way, local towns, villages, and Radio 2 fans rallied behind her, offering support every step of the way.
