BASEBALL BAT Birmingham Man Locked Up for Brutal Walsall Attack

A Birmingham man has been convicted after a savage attack on a sex worker in Walsall. Simon Tang, 56, brutally assaulted the woman near a car park on Birmingham Street on 5 May.

Baseball Bat Horror

Tang shocked court by pulling a baseball bat from his car boot and repeatedly bashing his victim. The woman suffered serious bruises to her head and legs in the vicious attack.

Justice on the Horizon

Thanks to specialist public protection officers, Tang was found guilty at Birmingham Crown Court of two rapes, possession of an offensive weapon, and actual bodily harm.

The Weoley Castle Road resident now awaits sentencing on 30 January.
