PRISON BREAK Prison Break Panic: Two Convicts on the Run from Sudbury

Police are scrambling after two prisoners made a daring escape from Sudbury Prison on Friday night. Filipe Smith and Patrick Gavin vanished at 6:10pm on October 24, sparking a major manhunt.

The Fugitives: Who Are They?

  • Filipe Smith, 30 – Serving six and a half years for Class A drug importation. Linked to the Guernsey and Coalville areas in Leicestershire.
  • Patrick Gavin – Serving five years and one month for causing grievous bodily harm with intent in 2020. Has connections to Market Harborough in West Northamptonshire.

Police Plea: Have You Spotted Them?

Derbyshire Police are urging the public to come forward with any information on the fugitives. They say:

“We are appealing for public’s help after a pair of convicts absconded from Sudbury Prison.”
