West Midlands Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was fatally shot in Wolverhampton in the early hours of Wednesday.
Fatal Shooting in Graiseley Area
Officers were called to Lilleshall Crescent, Graiseley, just after midnight following reports of a shooting. The victim, a 30-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
- Investigators are currently speaking to witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage.
- A dedicated website has been set up for the public to submit dashcam or mobile footage and any information.
- Police urge anyone with details to contact them via 101, quoting log 50 of 25 October.
Police Promise Extra Patrols in Area
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family today, and they will be getting all the support we can give them,” said Chief Inspector Richard Evans.
“We know this will cause real concern in the community, so we will have extra officers on patrol to offer reassurance and listen to people’s worries.”
