The fire was swiftly brought under control, with thankfully no one injured. Police launched an immediate investigation into the suspicious blaze.

Arson Charges Filed

Ricky Ryder, 38, from Seaford, and Jack Slowey, 34, from Peacehaven, have been charged with arson with intent to endanger life. Both remain in custody and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 24 October.

Third Man Released on Bail

A 42-year-old Peacehaven man was also arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life but has now been released on conditional bail as inquiries continue.
