Shock stabbing rocks Pensby as police act fast. A 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the back at Ridgewood Park, Merseyside, sparking an intense police hunt and four arrests.
Teen Victim Seriously Injured
The attack happened just after 5pm on Sunday, 19 October. The young victim was rushed to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital with a puncture wound to his back. Police described his condition as serious but stable.
Police Nab Four Teens Over Knife Attack
Merseyside Police arrested three more teenagers yesterday evening after combing the area. Two 13-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy are in custody, charged with Section 18 wounding. Earlier, a 13-year-old girl was also detained on suspicion of Section 18 wounding and assisting an offender.

Detective Inspector Phil Ryan said: “This incident has shocked the community. We know the fear knife crime causes, and our arrests are part of a wide investigation.”
“We’re urging anyone near Ridgewood Park to come forward with information. Check your CCTV, dashcams—anything could help.”
“Knife crime tears families apart. We’re working with schools and partners to prevent it, but young people must think twice before carrying weapons.”
