AIRLIFTED Motorbiker Airlifted After Serious Crash in Bradford

A 21-year-old motorbiker has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Bradford this afternoon.

Collision at Busy Junction

Emergency services rushed to the scene at 1.09pm after a collision between a car and an off-road motorbike at the junction of Great Horton Road and Union Road.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue confirmed two crews attended and had to free a casualty from the wreckage before handing them over to the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

 

Second Passenger Also Taken to Hospital

Police say a second man, who was also on the motorbike, was taken to hospital for precautionary checks.

A police spokesperson urged motorists to avoid the area as a cordon remains in place and roads are closed.

“A 21-year-old man riding the bike suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital for treatment,” confirmed police. “A second man was taken to hospital for precautionary checks.”
