Police rushed to Edgware Road at around 10.10pm on Saturday after reports of a violent fight broke out at the prestigious Hilton London Metropole.
22-Year-Old Man Stabbed During Private Event
At the scene, officers found a 22-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. He was quickly treated by paramedics and taken to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or permanently damaging.
Also hurt was a 60-year-old man, who received treatment for a minor hand injury before being hospitalised. Both men have since been discharged.
No Arrests Yet as Police Investigate
The incident is said to have occurred during a private function at the Hilton. So far, no arrests have been made, with police continuing their enquiries.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 22:10hrs on Saturday, 18 October, to reports of an altercation at a hotel on Edgware Road, Westminster.
“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a 22-year-old man for stab wounds. He was taken to hospital for further treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life changing.
“A 60-year-old man was also treated at the scene for a minor injury to his hand and taken to hospital. Both men have since been discharged.
“There have been no arrests at this stage and enquiries are ongoing.”
