CRACK THE CASE Gold Chain Stolen in Strood – Police Launch Appeal

 

Detectives are on the hunt for a missing gold chain stolen from a Strood home. Kent Police are asking the public for any info that could help crack the case.

Theft Details

The theft happened on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, at a property in Pelican Close, Strood. The chain was taken between 11am and 12.30pm.

Suspects Arrested but Released on Bail

After quick action, Kent Police arrested a 25-year-old man with no fixed address and a local 25-year-old woman, both suspected of theft. They have been bailed as investigations continue.

Police Urge Public to Speak Up

“Enquiries are ongoing to locate this missing chain. We are urging anyone who may have information about the theft or may have been offered the chain for sale to call our appeal line,” said PC Alanya Spiller.
