Firefighters raced against the clock last night as a fierce blaze ripped through the roof of a semi-detached home on Northumberland Avenue, Isleworth. Eight fire engines and around 60 crew members scrambled to tackle the flames after emergency calls flooded in.

The fire quickly engulfed the house’s roof, triggering a huge emergency response. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported amid the chaos.

Fire crews deployed a towering 32-metre turntable ladder, using it as a strategic observation point. This bird’s eye view helped commanders coordinate their attack and keep the blaze in check.

Rapid Response Quells Flames Within the Hour

  • First call came in at 9:43pm.
  • Firefighters from Heston, Chiswick, Feltham, Twickenham and surrounding stations joined the effort.
  • Flames were under control by 10:50pm.
  • Fire cause is under official investigation.
