Robbery Suspect Busted After Petrol Station Hold-Up in Bapchild ? UKNIP

A 35-year-old man has been charged following a tense robbery at a petrol station in Bapchild.

Armed Threat at Petrol Station

Kent Police rushed to the London Road petrol station at around 9.30pm on Sunday, 12 October 2025, after staff reported a man threatened them with a weapon and demanded cash. The suspect fled with a haul of money.

Quick Arrest and Court Appearance

Less than an hour after the incident, officers arrested Michael Pollock from Blossom Street, Bapchild. He faces charges of robbery and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear.

“Michael Pollock, 35, appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 14 October,” confirmed police. “He has been remanded in custody ahead of a Crown Court hearing.”

Pollock will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday 10 November.
