Blaze Breaks Out in Slough Flats – UKNIP

A fire erupted at a block of flats on Greystoke Road, Slough, at 3:12pm on Thursday, 9 October.

Massive Fire Response

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service quickly deployed crews from Slough, Langley, Maidenhead, and Windsor. Four officers and an Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood joined the battle against the flames. Backup teams from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue and the London Fire Brigade also rushed to the scene.

Firefighters Battle Flames, Residents Urged to Avoid Area

On arrival, firefighters found a serious blaze raging through the flats. They remain on site working to control the fire. Emergency crews have urged the public to steer clear of Greystoke Road while the incident is ongoing.
