Police Bust Cyber Criminals in Hertfordshire Sting
Detectives from the Met Police have snapped up two suspects in connection with a brazen cyber-attack on a chain of London nurseries. The dramatic swoop took place at homes in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, on Tuesday 7 October.
The duo, aged 17 and 22, were arrested on suspicion of computer misuse and blackmail. Both remain in custody as officers grill them over the hack.

The cyberattack struck several pre-schools across Greater London on 25 September, according to Action Fraud. The incident, believed to be a ransomware assault, sent shockwaves through the local community and prompted the Met to act swiftly.
