A creepy stalker who followed two women home from a nightclub and camped outside their flat for 12 hours has finally been brought to justice.
Night Out Turns Nightmare
On April 20, 26-year-old Abdullah Abdullah approached two friends at Infernos nightclub in Clapham. After they rejected his advances, he trailed them around the area before following them back to their home.
Once there, Abdullah shouted at the women before they went inside. But he wasn’t done — he waited outside their flat for around 12 hours, telling them he liked them, court documents revealed.
Guilty Plea and Sentencing
Abdullah, from Streatham Road in Mitcham, was charged with two counts of stalking without fear, alarm, or distress. He pleaded guilty at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on July 25.
On October 3, he was sentenced to an 18-month community order. This includes 100 hours of unpaid work and up to 32 days of rehabilitation activities.
He must also pay £100 compensation to each victim.
A clear message sent: stalking won’t be tolerated.
