Sinister stalking spree shocks Wisbech
A twisted stalker who creeped victims and launched a sexual assault spree has been locked up. Kehinde Quadri, 49, first grabbed police attention after lurking in Wisbech in September 2024. He offered to carry a woman’s bags up the stairs – before shocking her with a sexual assault.
Relentless following and terrifying confrontations
Quadri’s nightmare didn’t stop there. Over the next few weeks, he stalked the woman and her partner relentlessly. Twice, he followed them around Wisbech town centre, even staring at them from outside a local coffee shop. The couple also spotted him standing outside their home when they answered a takeaway delivery.
Harassment escalates to children’s school trip
Things took a darker turn when Quadri was reported again after he approached another woman walking her kids to school. Under the guise of asking for a cigarette, he grabbed and hugged her two children forcefully.
- He haunted the woman repeatedly, following her on school runs.
- On one occasion, he blocked her path, shouting and waving his arms aggressively.
Peeping through the letterbox proved his final crime
On October 8, 2024, the victim caught a terrifying glimpse of Quadri peering inside her home through the letterbox. When she opened the door to confront him, he bolted. Justice was served last week at Peterborough Crown Court, where Quadri admitted three counts of stalking and one of sexual assault. The judge sentenced him to one year behind bars.
