Fire Crews Called to Tackle 80 Tonnes of Hay ablaze in Bordon
Fire crews from across Hampshire and Surrey are still trying to bring under control 80 tonnes of hay that is a blaze. Crews were called just after 2pm on Sunday afternoon. Crews from Bordon,Rushmoor,Fleet and Farnham have been now fighting the nearly five hours. Specialist vehicles have been called to support the crews after the blaze that has spread. The Hampshire USAR team along with two water carriers have also been mobilised to the scene. It is understood that water carriers doing water shuttles to the station and back to the incident. The prime mover that has the manitou telehandler onboard is also breaking it up the hay and moving it around now so fire crews can spray the hay. More to Follow
