Jeremy Clarkson’s diehard fans are begging him not to hang up his wellies after he announced the wrap of Clarkson’s Farm season five.

Season 5 Wrapped: Fans Fear the End of Clarkson’s Farm

The 65-year-old former Top Gear and Grand Tour presenter dropped a telling Instagram snap captioned: “Season 5. It’s a wrap.” The pic featured Clarkson with farm manager Kaleb Cooper, Gerald Cooper, and girlfriend Lisa Hogan.

Fans stormed the comments section, pleading for Moremore. One begged, “Please, don’t stop.” Another gushed, “This is the only show I want to see 20 seasons of 😍.”

Health Issues and Farming Drama Spell a Break

Clarkson has been upfront about the toll farming and filming have taken. Earlier this year, his Diddly Squat Farm suffered a ‘catastrophic’ harvest after an outbreak of bovine tuberculosis decimated the cattle.

“I’d do a sixth if there was a reason, like a bloody good story. But if, say, my Backback turns out to be cancerous then I wouldn’t,”

Clarkson told The Times.

He admitted a rest is needed:

“The crews are all worn out. We’ve been filming two or three days a Weekweek for five years. Everybody could do with a rest.”

Not Retiring Yet: “I’d Just Be An Alcoholic”

Despite hinting at a break, Clarkson has no plans to quit showbiz anytime soon. He joked,

“I’d just be an alcoholic if I stopped working. I have no hobbies, I’m good at nothing. Some people enjoy golf or fishing, but I’m not interested in anything particularly. I enjoy having lots of different jobs to do.”

Since opening his own pub, The Farmer’s Dog, last year, Jeremy’s kept busy dishing out his trademark blunt humour. He’s even taken a cheeky swipe at food intolerances and ribbed Stacey Solomon after winning a National Television Award for Clarkson’s Farm.

Clarkson’s Farm Shocks TV with NTA Win

The Amazon Prime smash beat heavy hitters like Gogglebox and Stacey Solomon’s shows to claim the Factual Entertainment award. Celebrating the win, Clarkson quipped,

“It’s great that a farming show can beat a house cleaning show.”

He saluted his hardworking team in his acceptance speech:

“We worked Wayway harder than anyone else in this room.”
