Crash Rocks North End Road
Police rushed to North End Road, Erith, at around 10:15am on September 30 after reports of a serious crash.
A cyclist was hit by a lorry in what is now being treated as a major incident.
Cyclist Fighting for Life in Hospital
The man on the bike was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police have confirmed his condition remains critical, with no sign of improvement.
Lorry Driver Stops, No Arrests Made
The lorry driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. So far, no arrests have been carried out.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 10.13hrs on Tuesday, 30 September to reports of a collision between a cyclist and a lorry on North End Road, Erith. The cyclist, a man, was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition. The lorry driver stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made. Road closures remain in place.”
