Leeds is on edge after three serious sexual assaults rocked Hyde Park in just one night. Police have launched an urgent witness appeal as they hunt a masked attacker.

Late Night Attacks in Hyde Park

The first two assaults happened shortly before 2am in Hyde Park. While officers were on scene with the victims, a third woman bravely came forward reporting she too had been attacked about 20 minutes earlier. All assaults occurred within a tight timeframe, sparking fears in the community.

Suspect Description and Police Action

Detectives describe the suspect as a slim man, aged 30s to 40s, of unknown ethnicity. He wore a grey or black puffa jacket with the hood up, jeans, and a face covering resembling a Covid mask, concealing his face up to the eyes. The attacker spoke with an English accent.

Extra police patrols are now patrolling Hyde Park to reassure locals and ramp up the manhunt.

Police Urge Anyone with Information to Come Forward

“We are appealing for witnesses or information after three serious sexual assaults took place in a Leeds park in a short period of time,” police said in a statement.

The public is urged to contact authorities immediately with any information to help catch this dangerous predator.
