Man Hospitalised After Turmoil in Trowbridge

A man has been rushed to hospital after a violent disorder erupted in Trowbridge last night (01/10).

Violence Breaks Out on Bramley Lane

At around 7:25pm, police were called to Bramley Lane where a group of acquaintances clashed violently. A man in his 30s sustained serious injuries during the altercation.

He was taken to hospital with wounds that are serious but not believed to be life-changing.

Several Arrested Over Assault

Officers swiftly set up a crime scene and arrested multiple people on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. The incident is under active investigation by the CID.

Police Reassure Public

DI Tom Straker said: “We understand the concern this incident may cause. However, this was a dispute between known individuals, and there is no wider threat to the public.”

“A man is receiving treatment and several men have been arrested as we work to uncover the full story behind this assault.”

“There will be a heightened police presence in the area while investigations continue. If you have any concerns, please speak to one of our officers.”

Police urge anyone with information to come forward to assist with the ongoing probe.
