Rita Ora, 34, has secured official permission to build a gym in her London garden, defying protests from local residents and community groups.

The pop diva, who snapped up the property four years ago, plans to construct a garden room 30 metres from her home. This space will serve as her personal fitness centre.

Neighbours Fear Noise and Privacy Invasion

Despite council approval, some neighbours are far from happy. They worry the gym will disrupt the tranquillity of the area and disturb local wildlife.

One complaint slammed the plans: “Residents who chose this area for its tranquillity should not be forced to live with artificial lighting, amplified sound or loss of privacy.”

The objector added concerns about bifold doors possibly letting noise escape: “Music and voice projection could occur at any hour.”

They also highlighted strict local rules against large gatherings, warning the gym could ignite conflicts and even legal battles.

Environmental Worries Over Heritage Garden

Another neighbour blasted the gym plans for endangering the area’s natural ecology.

“The current owner claims to want to preserve the heritage of this sunken garden, a sanctuary for butterflies, birds, robins, herons and even peacocks,” the complaint stated. “Destroying this calm, listed property to build a modern gym is totally out of character.”
