The family of Julia Burns from Feltham are left “unimaginably heartbroken” after the 31-year-old died following a devastating collision with an e-bike.
Fatal Crash on Elmwood Avenue
The incident happened on the evening of September 29, 2024, around 7.45pm on Elmwood Avenue. Julia was struck by an e-bike while walking, suffering serious injuries.
She was rushed to hospital but sadly passed away months later on February 13. The rider fled the scene before police arrived.
Man Arrested Over Death
On July 24, police arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released on bail, pending further investigation in October.
Meanwhile, police are urging witnesses to come forward. “Even the smallest detail could make a difference,” said Detective Constable Sarah Royle from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
Family’s Heartbreaking Plea for Justice
“Our family is devastated by the tragic loss of our beloved Julia. Her absence has left a void in our lives that can never be filled,” the family said.
“Julia was the heart and soul of our family. No family should have to watch a loved one suffer the Wayway she did.
“We are pleading with anyone who may have information to please come forward. Your courage and compassion could help bring justice for Julia.”
