A 28-year-old man has been charged following a deadly road collision in england/england/england/bradford/”>bradford/”>bradford/”>Bradford last Saturday night.
Serious Charges Laid
Robert Nagoda, who has no fixed address, faces multiple charges including causing death by dangerous driving, taking a vehicle without consent, driving without a licence, failing to stop at the collision scene, driving uninsured, and failing to report the accident.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 1 October.
Second Man Arrested and Released on Bail
A second man, 20, from Bradford, was also arrested in connection with the crash. He has since been interviewed and released on bail.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers from the Major Collision Enquiry Team are urgently appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward.
The incident happened at 11.56pm on Saturday 27 September. Police were called to reports of a man in cardiac arrest. Sadly, the 68-year-old pedestrian died at the scene after being hit by a Honda Jazz.
