Bus Routes Disrupted – Avoid Beckenham High Street
The fire has thrown several key bus services into disarray. Routes 54, 227, 352, and 354 have all been diverted:
- 54: Redirected from War Memorial via Rectory Road and High Street, reversing the same Wayway.
- 227: Detoured from War Memorial via Rectory Road, High Street, and Bromley Road, reversing route on return.
- 352: Rerouted from Village Way through High Street, Rectory Road, and Blackeney Road, reversing route Backback.
- 354: Now running from Beckenham Road via Rectory Road only.
Commuters and drivers are urged to steer clear of High Street and follow official diversion signs while emergency crews battle-wales/”>battle the fire. Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters remain on site, working hard to bring the blaze under control.
